มหาวิทยาลัยคยองฮีเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยเอกชนที่ให้การศึกษาครอบคลุมตั้งแต่ระดับ อนุบาลไปจนถึงระดับอุดมศึกษา โดยมีวิทยาเขตอยู่ในกรุงโซล ซูวอน และควางนึง นับตั้งแต่ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี 1949 มหาวิทยาลัยได้ดำเนินรอยตามจิตวิญญาณของคยองฮีที่ว่า “ทุนการศึกษาและสันติภาพ” รวมถึงหลักการในการก่อตั้งที่ว่า “การสร้างโลกศิวิไลซ์” จนกระทั่งในปี 1993 มหาวิทยาลัยคยองฮีได้รับรางวัลยูเนสโกสาขาการศึกษาเพื่อสันติภาพนอกจากนั้น มหาวิทยาลัยคยองฮียังได้สร้างความร่วมมือกับมหาวิทยาลัยต่างๆ กว่า 400 มหาวิทยาลัยจาก 68 ประเทศทั่วโลก ในการส่งนักเรียนไปแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และวัฒนธรรม

สถาบันภาษา

Institute of International Education (IIE)
ในครั้งแรกนั้น IIE ได้ก่อตั้งขึ้นเป็นศูนย์โสตทัศนศึกษาในเดือนพฤษภาคม 1971 และได้ขยายตัวจนเป็นสถาบันเพื่อการวิจัยและศึกษาภาษาในปี 1993 ต่อมาจึงได้เป็นชื่อเป็นสถาบันเพื่อการศึกษาระหว่างประเทศ (IIE) ในปี 1997IIE มีเป้าหมายเพื่อการศึกษาที่เป็นเลิศและการพัฒนากำลังคนให้เหมาะสมกับยุคของความเป็นสากลและโลกาภิวัฒน์
IIE เป็นสถาบันสอนภาษาโดยเฉพาะ ซึ่งมีคณาจารย์ที่เป็นเลิศ และอุปกรณ์การเรียนที่ทันสมัยที่สุดในประเทศ ในปี 1993 ได้ริเริ่มโครงการภาษาเกาหลีและได้รับเลือกให้เป็นสถาบันอย่างเป็นทางการสำหรับการสอนภาษาเกาหลีให้กับชาวต่างชาติ ในแต่ละปีจะมีนักเรียนกว่า 3,000 คนจาก 60 ประเทศทั่วโลกเข้ามาเรียนที่ IIE

จุดเด่น

มี “ระบบอาสาสมัคร” โดยให้นักเรียนเกาหลีเพื่อช่วยเหลือนักเรียนต่างชาติในรูปแบบของบัดดี้

Korean Reading 3	Understanding professional level reading passages with specialized topics to practice writing advanced vocabulary and Korean fables.
Korean Writing 1	Understanding basic vocabulary and grammatical structures to apply in writing simple sentences

Dormitory Information

Announcement :

Accepted applicants are posted on the IIE website within 14 days from the first day of instruction.

Move-in Day

1. Approved applicants may move in from the day it is announced on the website
2. Must read and sign the dormitory regulations and policies list

Dormitory Checks

1. One check of the dormitory per month (cleanliness, complaints, etc.)
2. Proper trash bags used (must comply and use government-issued bags)
(White trash bag: non-food trash; Yellow trash bag: food trash—recyclable leftovers edible for animals)

On the Day of Check Out

Must announce to office one month prior to move out
Check the status of all the furnishings and cleanliness. Return keys. (Should there be problems, necessary fees for replacing or repairs will be deducted from the security deposit.)
Return security deposit.

Every room has internet connection(LAN)
The Common Available Hours: 08:00 ~ 24:00
The entrance gate locked from midnight to 6:00 am.
Utility fee will be differs on your usages per month. (water, gas, electronic etc)
